Our Concept

Traditional culture is something we inherit.
At the same time, it is something we actively shape and pass on to the future.

In 2009, during our first visit to Arita, we were struck by the quietness of the town and the reality that sales had declined to just 20% of their peak.
At the same time, we were deeply moved by the refined beauty and craftsmanship of the tableware we encountered.

We asked ourselves:
“Why not share this with the world?”

That question became the starting point of our activities.

On the other hand, I felt strongly touched by the beauty of wares

and skills and sicerity of the Arita ware cratfsmen.

Japanese artisans continue to refine traditional techniques while adapting to contemporary lifestyles.
The tableware they create is delicate yet powerful, embodying both precision and presence.

Our mission is to:

Bring traditional crafts into the hands of more people

Share the stories and dedication of artisans and kilns

Create more opportunities for traditional techniques to thrive

Though our efforts are steady and gradual, we believe each step contributes to sustaining Japan’s cultural heritage for the next 100 or even 1,000 years.
